Maya Satterwhite, aka, Maya By Name is an author, recording artist, actress, model, podcast host, and digital creator. In 2015, the Buffalo, N.Y. native wrote and co-produced her first single, To You, From Me, along with its accompanying video. Maya would subsequently release four projects, open for R&B veteran, Tank, land songwriting placements on TV shows such as NCIS: New Orleans, Growing Up Hip Hop, and The Hills, be featured in magazines such as Sheen, 360, and Vents, and receive the Changemakers 30 Under 30 Award. After a several-year battle with depression, she began sharing inspirational content across her social platforms. Her first literary work, How Is Your Heart Today?: For You, Your Relationships, and Your Purpose was released in 2022.
